111th Street (IRT Flushing Line)
Lines:
IRT Flushing Line
List of closed areas:
111th Street was built a local station, though it briefly served as a terminal station.
The station was originally built with two sets of entrances. However, due to security concerns, the eastern set was closed entirely; they led to the southwestern and northeastern corners of 112th Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Some of the stairs from the platform to the mezzanine of this set were sealed, and the mezzanine was repurposed into employee facilities.
