190th St
Lines:
IND Eighth Ave Line
List of closed areas:
190th St was built as a regular station. Because of the station's depth under the street it travels under (Fort Washington Avenue), elevators were built to allow passengers to travel up to Fort Washington Avenue.
Most areas at this station remain open, except for on exit at the upper level of the elevators (at Fort Washington Avenue) that led directly to the traffic circle at Margaret Corbin Plaza, which was closed due to security concerns.
